History: Chad was raised in a hard working conservative environment. He moved from fad to fad and when he turned 15 he discovered poetry. He has never given up on his poetry dream.

History: He was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. He was taken as a slave by a traveling circus and forced to perform Unlike his family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, he wanted to work in the city. He has been working here for the past few years.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his father always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Anthony grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Anthony. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to brigands demanding more tribute than usual.

History: Born to a Courier, his mother struggled to pay the bills. He was an apprentice working in his mother's forge. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Personality: He can speak with the dead, and doesn't see much difference between the living and dead. He is an amazing painter.

History: Rolf was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Fighter, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Fighter in service of a powerful lord somewhere. He made a point of taking high paying jobs and getting most of it up front. He became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

Motivation: Someone believes him a fraud; and several ex partners dislike his way of doing things and want revenge
