Through the years after Simon was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the south. Simon's mother didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. At a young age both his parents were killed in an accident. His uncle (a powerful person with enemies on both sides of the law) took him in and had him trained in basic self defense. He used his abilities to trick people and travel the world for free.

Motivation: He has comitted a past crime that haunts him to this day; and a rival would like him out of the picture

History: He is a Yochlol in disguise. He struck it rich when he found rare goods in large quantities. After a long history of fighting, Adelard and his spouse have recently divorced.

Motivation: A need for knowledge about a nearby landmark; and to reunite with his old friends
