History: He was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. Since his mother passed away years ago, his father had doted on him, and he came to think her himself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by his attractiveness, a trait in which he easily excels the other men of his town. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Description: He is a mite stocky and wears a brown tunic with grey highlights, and long white pants that bunch up around his shoes. His auburn hair, when down, is lengthy. His eyes, though not visible through his cowl, are brown.

Personality: Soft-spoken and well mannered, he has an amazing amount of patience and a slow boiling temper. His respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to him, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, he tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in his reactions to snap at those who irritate him, Gerard is combative with any and all who dare try his patience in the slightest.

History: Trained by his father for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. At a young age he wooed the heart of his future spouse and the two had a long relationship before they wed. Some 8 years later his spouse died after the birth of his son. Heartbroken, Gerard never married again. Instead he focused his life to raising his son whom he trained as his father had trained him before.

Personality: He is shy and timid. He has not had much interaction with people and is skittish around them. He would rather hide behind his crafts than deal with other people.

History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. His homeland was ravaged by war and he spent much of his life rebuilding it. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

Motivation: Retire the richest man in the north; and he has money and likes to spend it

Personality: He speaks before he thinks and is too direct. He also has developed a complete distrust of the Fletcher profession.

History: He was born in the east, but his parents moved at a very young age to the north. He sought a place where he would be rewarded solely on the merits of his skills. This search led him directly into Soapmaker work with an outfit from a few towns over. Soapmaker work suited him well, and with each successful project, he earned more gold and more respect from his peers. He ran away from his former home and has been making his living as a Soapmaker for the past few years.

Motivation: Wants to open a new tavern; and he'd like to take his coworkers down a peg

Personality: He is not truly malevolent, but he is obsessed with poetry. He constantly tries to fill his life with poetry. His brief stint in the army gave him the idea he was invincible and that he is the toughest man alive.

History: He was born several months after his father was called into army service. He helped his father out around the business and became quite the natural. He has gone from town to town till he finds a spot where he can set up a sustainable business.

Motivation: He wants nothing more than to rejoin the army.
