Description: He is a physically imposing light-skinned man. He wears a shirt and pants that are bristling with pockets overflowing with maps, compasses, and other navigational equipment. His hair is red and curly. He has a very pronounced jaw and large eyebrows. He wears rectangular glasses with silver brims.
Personality: Aldous speaks confidently about a variety of topics with grace. He is clearly well-traveled and educated. He always tries to repair and not replace. It was this mentality that drove him into the Navigator business.
History: He was born into a rich family. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.
Motivation: Retire the richest man in the north; and he is greedy

Personality: He does not care much for physical appearances, nor does he care much for other people. He does however care about what he wants and getting it. His job bores him to no end. He has decided to make it more interesting.
History: He was born on a small isolated farm. He found a children's book about a Human Fighter who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. He has dedicated himself to building a better kind of golem.
Motivation: He has decided he is irredeemable; and he feels that his past leaves him morally obligated to help

Personality: A grumpy guy he will invite people to lunch so he can critique them. Yet he still seems generally likeable, like a lovable grump. He disdains his fellow westerners, claiming they make him look unintelligent just for using an accent.
History: Frederick hails from a village terrorized by dire rats. His parents were killed by dire rats in a raid when he was still a young child. The dire rats captured him, and made him a slave and general play-thing. He was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to his deformed appearance. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to dire rats demanding more tribute than usual.

Description: He is a husky man, who likes to wear ponchos typically of a light grey in addition to tight pants. His brown hair is lengthy and is close to two feet long. His thin eyebrows rest above his beady amber eyes.
Personality: He tends to agree with only himself unless someone else's opinion sounds like he can profit from it. He tries to control his temper but he can't always stop himself from what he feels what must be done. As long as the job gets done he does not care how it got done.
History: Born in the north to a Soapmaker, Hunter learned a great deal about his father's area of expertise. He helped his father out around the business and became quite the natural. When he grew older, he became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. He began work as a mercenary for hire. He would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.

Personality: He trusts no one. He is not readily capable for forgiveness and his ire never leaves him. He does not trust anyone and sleeps with one eye open.
History: He was born at the edge of vast plains. Through the years after Charles was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the west. Charles's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. Some 9 years later his spouse died after the birth of his daughter. Heartbroken, Charles never married again. Instead he focused his life to raising his daughter whom he trained as his father had trained him before.
