History: He is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. At some point he was captured by giants and was tortured. After several years of this he finally managed to escape. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Motivation: Regain custody of his daughter; and to unite with his sister

History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his father. Since his father passed away years ago, his mother had doted on him, and he came to think her himself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by his attractiveness, a trait in which he easily excels the other men of his town. Since then, he has sought to make the best of life.

Motivation: Retire the richest man in the east; and to fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever

History: Adelard was born in the north. At a young age he loved to build and create. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Bellfounder hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. One night he noticed a nearby shooting star which he hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. He has done his darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

Motivation: Human compassion; and a rival would like him out of the picture

Description: The dark-skinned man stands 6'2" and wears a red coat over a tan low-cut shirt, and a deerstalker hat upon his head. His hair is black, silky, and of moderate length. He wears crescent spectacles with a black brim.

Personality: Here is a man who knows he is the smartest in the room. He talks down to others constantly. He is a bit of a macho man and will challenge people to random contests of strength and skill, and invite them to random hunting and fishing trip.

History: A powerful brothel owner made him what he is. There was a wharf not far from home where he often wandered off to fish. He bought a sai and has really upped his game hunting, due to his understanding of decoy and ambush.

Motivation: He doesn't get along with people that don't share his tastes.

Personality: He is a man who does what he needs to. He will acquiesce to black mail and extortion to avoid trouble. His job bores him to no end. He has decided to make it more interesting.

History: The child of eastern immigrants he idolized his mother. Gerard abandoned his home at a very young age, living in the fields and plains. He survived everyday through hunting and stealing from passersby. He did whatever it took for him to survive. Lacking all sense, he decided to go on an adventure. He picked a direction and started trekking.

Motivation: He is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences his actions; and he possesses a valuable artifact that the thieves guild wishes to steal
