Personality: He has schizophrenia that causes him to hear things that aren't there and will sometimes respond to them. He does suffer from mild PTSD, and the sight of drow may trigger it at times.

History: He was born on a small isolated farm. Cursed with vampirism at a very young age, Aldous has worked very hard to control his curse. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Motivation: Wants his loneliness to end; and a deep hatred of drow

Description: This younger middle-aged man wears grey painted combat armor at almost all times, and a wedding ring on his left hand. His hair, while still mostly brown, has prominent grey streaks. His eyes are hazel and catlike.

Personality: He does not care much for physical appearances, nor does he care much for other people. He does however care about what he wants and getting it. When he's not drinking or sleeping the drinks off, he's doing singing.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious northern family, he was no stranger to responsibility. His father was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his father was legitimate. He has never given up on his singing dream.

Motivation: His religion dominates his actions; and wishes to resurrect an old love

Description: A man of a pale complexion, he is dressed in earthy colors with a brown and black handkerchief worn on his right side. His golden hair is still thick. He wears round tiny glasses practically rammed into his face.

Personality: He is business-like. He takes instructions and follows them to the letter. The war was a terrible time for him, and Reynard does not often speak of it. When he does, he does so with a strained expression and tears in his eyes.

History: Reynard was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Fighter, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Fighter in service of a powerful lord somewhere. He found a children's book about a Human Fighter who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. He now travels the world, in search of power and loot.

Motivation: He would like to get married and retire; and he wants nothing more than to rejoin the army

Description: A moderately attractive man, he wears a shirt and pants that are bristling with pockets overflowing with maps, compasses, and other navigational equipment. He has dyed his greying white hair a little too much giving a sharp white color. His eyes, though not visible through his cowl, are hazel.

Personality: He is a man who does what he needs to. He will acquiesce to black mail and extortion to avoid trouble. He has a minor phobia of water and hates getting wet.

History: He was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Trey grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Trey. Recently he has begun working with bootleggers and crooks.

Motivation: He is terrified, and will act out of fear; and a rival would like him out of the picture

History: His mother raised him in a mountain cabin. There was a wharf not far from home where he often wandered off to fish. He now owns his own business.

Motivation: Balancing his hectic life and new Herbalist responsibilities is difficult.
