History: Born in the north to a Ruler, Balimaar learned a great deal about his father's area of expertise. He found a children's book about a Human Fighter who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. He became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

Personality: He is soft-spoken, optimistic and speaks nonstop, as he rather likes the sound of his voice. His demeanor is somewhat feminine. He passes on several rewards to people in need. He makes a point to leave places better than he found them.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. At a young age he wooed the heart of his future spouse and the two had a long relationship before they wed. Since then, he has sought to make the best of life.

Motivation: To fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever.

Description: A moderately attractive man, he wears a red coat over a grey low-cut shirt, and a feathered hat upon his head. His auburn hair is thinning but still full. He has a very pronounced jaw and large eyebrows. He wears rectangular glasses with silver brims.

Personality: He is fixated on the number 9. He counts his steps and bites of food to keep in track with it. He seems to be used to being ignored and not questioned about it. His home and work are filled with various knick knacks he has acquired through the years. He cares a great deal for his adopted teenage son.

History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. He struck it rich when he found rare goods in large quantities. By chance he met his sister recently and the two have been together since.

Motivation: An old rival family wants him found.

Personality: He is quiet and reserved most of the time, but warms up to people very quickly. Around friends he is liable to tell dirty jokes and enjoy himself. He has a taste for the finer things and spends a great deal of money on luxuries, some more exotic than others.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his father always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. After coming to the age of reason, Henry took it upon himself to study the arcane arts in their entirety; because of this, he was labeled a dark omen and banished from his homeland. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: He has money and likes to spend it; and he is greedy

Description: A man with a friendly, welcoming air about him, he wears a grey vest and prefers black and tan shirts. His boots appear to have been at one point steel toed but are quite worn down. His hair, while still mostly silver, has prominent grey streaks. He is missing an eye and his face is severely sunburned. His one remaining eye shines amber.

Personality: He tends to agree with only himself unless someone else's opinion sounds like he can profit from it. He tries to control his temper but he can't always stop himself from what he feels what must be done. He does not believe in violence as a means to an end. He is a dedicated Carter but believes his peers are too gung-ho.

History: He was born with several neurological imbalances, which makes sleep difficult for him. It may also be what makes him so good at details. His parents divorced when he was young, and his father gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his father, who blamed him for driving them apart. After a long history of fighting, Bernard and his spouse have recently divorced.

Motivation: To get a good night's sleep; and he's repulsed by the pc
