He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Personality: He is a jovial happy person, but he is convinced people are living their lives too quickly. Everard enjoys physical pleasures, and is well known for his love of warm baths in the hot springs near the town.

History: When he was but 3 years old his parents immigrated from the south. Aside from being a slave or a gladiator, there isn't much legitimate work for Humans in Everard's homeland. Everard decided to take the middle way and become a bodyguard. He left for the south, certain he would find work there.

Motivation: Wants to have a good time and be beloved; and to fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever
