It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. He has done his darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

History: William lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. A freak accident while working with his Armorer mother left him crippled. He has been saving his money to try and buy his brother's freedom.

Personality: He is quiet and anti-social and can barely make it a few minutes in conversation before his hampering stammer kicks in. When triggered he is a bloodthirsty maniac, stopping at nothing and killing everything for almost an hour.

History: He was born at the edge of vast island. His father was a mechanic, and taught him how to fix just about anything. He has recently gotten a pet goose that steals things from people.

Motivation: He has comitted a past crime that haunts him to this day.

History: The child of eastern immigrants he idolized his father. He took every job he could get his hands on, but the opportunities for Humans in the east were limited. By chance he met his sister recently and the two have been together since.
