Personality: He is a Ruler first and foremost. He believes firmly that knowledge should be universal. Jocelyn is a bit of a follower. Usually he is manipulated by his sisters into helping them out, but recently he has become more of a free agent.

History: He was born to loving parents in a slum to the south. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Ruler hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He is untrained/undisciplined, which makes him dangerous.

Motivation: To reunite with his old friends; and wants to raise his children well

Description: This man stands a little under 5'9" and is a bit bulky. He is very muscular particularly in the legs. He is wearing the road beaten gear of a warrior. His red hair is thinning but still full. His face is feral with sharp distinguishing features. His spectacle hidden eyes are a deep brown.

Personality: Arnold speaks confidently about a variety of topics with grace. He is clearly well-traveled and educated. He is often prim and proper but will on occasion tell either really disgusting or offensive jokes, which seem out of character.

History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Arnold grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Arnold. He would ruin relationships and cause injury. He was reprimanded several times before being given his current form and forced to learn humility.

Description: He is scrawny and has patchy black stubble. He is bundled in multiple layers and is prepared for a desert trek wearing a turban that covers his face most of the time. He has a hunchback. He is bald on top and has large black tufts of hair around his ears. His eyes are green and he is always smoking a pipe.

Personality: He is soft-spoken, optimistic and speaks nonstop, as he rather likes the sound of his voice. His demeanor is somewhat feminine. He disdains his fellow westerners, claiming they make him look unintelligent just for using an accent.

History: He was born in the west, but his parents moved at a very young age to the east. While he appears to be a normal Human, he's... not quite right. Perhaps he's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that he plain doesn't fit in. He has worked as a Servant like his mother before him.

Motivation: He is not mentally stable, and does not behave rationally; and to be a masseuse again

Description: He has a missing right leg. He wears a tight fitting green shirt and pants. His hair, while still mostly brown, has prominent grey streaks. His eyes, though not visible through his cowl, are hazel.

Personality: He is someone who is used to having a large amount of sex appeal. He also lacks a concept of privacy and shares just about everything. He is obsessed with his god.

History: His necromantic talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, his parents had him trained. His first spouse was a Bookbinder, they had one son, but his spouse won total custody. Without his spouse to temper him he grew out of control. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Bookbinder they were divorced and he won custody of their son. He worked as a Locksmith, and he later adopted a second son.

Motivation: His religion dominates his actions.

Description: A plain young-adult man, he wears suspenders and black workpants. His shirt is red, and he wears a heavy black leather apron most of the time. His hair is always cut to a buzz. His skin is flawless and his brown eyes scan people very quickly.

Personality: He is quite rude, and likes to deride his opponents skill and shout insults at them. He is used to getting what he wants. In part because he is a meticulous planner.

History: He was raised in a plains tribe. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Spy. He ran away from his former home and has been making his living as a Spy for the past few years.

Motivation: He is unsatisfied with his job.
