Personality: Always inclined to offer people food he seems plenty friendly. He is harsh and unforgiving.

History: He was born into a rich family. When Gilbert reached his early adolescence his Human mother passed away. Feeling disconnected from the small nearby village afterwards, he decided to travel. His rounds led him into the Army with a few individuals who would become his life-long companions. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Personality: He has two modes he varies between. On the job he is cold, steely and emotionless. Off the job he is a party animal. On top of that he is swayed by a pretty face, and while loyalty to his employer will always come first he doesn't like to hit women.

History: Born in the west his family was never financially stable. He found a children's book about a Human Fighter who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. He tends to his Mercenary job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations he has.

Motivation: He desires power and/or immortality.

Personality: He is overprotective of those who hire his services. He is a ruthless business man, a trait he acquired from his mother.

History: Gifted from a young age, Patrick studied abroad. He took every job he could get his hands on, but the opportunities for Humans in the north were limited. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: Retire the richest man in the north; and to clean up the streets

History: He was born into a rich family. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by gnolls, and he desires to right it.

Description: He is a man of bearing and well nourished. He wears a large hat to cast shadows over his face and wears ponchos to better hide his body. His white hair is smooth and relatively long. His otherwise smooth face is marked with small tiny scars.

Personality: He tends to agree with only himself unless someone else's opinion sounds like he can profit from it. He tries to control his temper but he can't always stop himself from what he feels what must be done. He has zero loyalty and will suck up to whomever is within range, in the hopes of being moved to a better position.

History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. Through the years after Simon was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the north. Simon's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He spent several years traveling with his friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.
