History: Alex hails from a village terrorized by orcs. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Miner hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He has since lost track of the people in his past.

Motivation: Many orcs want him driven away; and retire the richest man in the south

History: Heir to a fortune, his parents put a great deal of effort into curing his disease. Cursed with lycanthropy at a very young age, Bertram has worked very hard to control his curse. He used his abilities to travel the world and help people.

Motivation: To get a good night's sleep; and he is greedy
