He moved out north to avoid the crime he committed. Being a Map Maker kept his interest for a while, but then he became depressed and bored. So he turned to a secret life of crime, taking increasingly more risks and challenges.

History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Adelard was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. There was a wharf not far from home where he often wandered off to fish. He tends to his Carter job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations he has.

History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. His father had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted him to inherit them. By chance he met his brother recently and the two have been together since.

History: He was born with several neurological imbalances, which makes sleep difficult for him. It may also be what makes him so good at details. Brilliant and gifted he never wanted to apply himself. He hasn't been sleeping well lately.

Motivation: To get a good night's sleep; and wants his loneliness to end

History: His divine talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, his parents had him trained. As a young adult he joined a group advocating for an improvement in Human conditions. He was granted divine powers by his dying sister.

Motivation: He uses money and sex appeal to get what he needs; and a strong sense of loyalty to human people
