Through the years after Gunter was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the south. Gunter's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

Personality: Hugh speaks confidently about a variety of topics with grace. He is clearly well-traveled and educated. When he's not drinking or sleeping the drinks off, he's doing dancing.

History: Trained by his father for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. He moved from fad to fad and when he turned 15 he discovered dancing. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Motivation: He wants revenge against illithids; and he feels the way he acts is they only way to get by in the world

Personality: He has a very dry and sarcastic sense of humor. He is not one for noise or eating so much, which is in direct contrast with his big mouthed big gutted partner. His partner is his best friend in the world. The two are very close despite being more or less each other's opposites. More though he will beg to come along on any journeys. He will attempt to stowaway on any ship he can in the hopes that it will get him further away.

History: He was born on a small isolated farm. Over the years he perfected his riding and shooting skills. He has been saving his money to try and buy his sister's freedom.

Personality: Manfred is a sociable creature first and foremost. He loves to listen to people at length before talking their ear off. He can carry on conversation for hours and will do so. He disdains his fellow westerners, claiming they make him look unintelligent just for using an accent.

History: He was raised in a forest tribe. Brilliant and gifted he never wanted to apply himself. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.
