History: Heir to a fortune, his parents put a great deal of effort into curing his disease. A freak accident while working with his Banker mother left him crippled. He's since become an addict/alcoholic.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his mother always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. Through the years after Lance was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the east.
