Personality: He is calm most of the time but flees social interaction. He is a bit of a macho man and will challenge people to random contests of strength and skill, and invite them to random hunting and fishing trip.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when drow swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. In his 18th year, his parents were killed by a drow raid, leaving Aldous alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to drow demanding more tribute than usual.

History: Born in the east his family was never financially stable. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He now travels the world, in search of power and loot.

Motivation: A need for knowledge about a nearby landmark; and he desires power and/or immortality

History: Manfred was raised in a hard working conservative environment. He was an apprentice working in his mother's forge. One night he noticed a nearby shooting star which he hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. He has done his darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

Motivation: Many gnolls want him driven away; and to share knowledge with the world

Personality: He has a good heart but also a terrible temper. He will forgive often but not before yelling and berating someone for whatever they have done wrong. He is terrible with names forgetting people's names several times before they finally stick; this causes him no end of embarrassment.

History: He got into the Layabout business at a young age. Like his father and his sister before him, after school he went straight into learning to become a Layabout. He ran away from his former home and has been making his living as a Layabout for the past few years.
