History: The child of southern immigrants he idolized his father. A few years later when the west was not economically sound they moved to his current location. He has been saving his money to try and buy his sister's freedom.

Description: He wears a shirt that is too small, which lets his gut show, with a ratty black coat over it. He has a moderate pudge and is not very fit. His head has been shaved. His gray eyes peer out from beneath his Stetson black hat.
Personality: He shows great sympathy to all travelers. He's the type to buy drinks and listen to their stories. He dislikes loud distracting noises, but is overall hospitable. His biggest love is that of knowledge and as such will purchase any books or pay to listen to tales that travelers might have.
History: When he was but 6 years old his parents immigrated from the east. Being born in the east, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the east for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way west. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his daughters to still be retired.
Motivation: Marry his brother to traveling adventurers.

Description: He wears a fancy brown suit. He cuts an attractive figure and his suit of old armor is well cared for even if it is obsolete. He wears a broad hat to hide his balding. He tend to wears goggles to shield his eyes.
Personality: He is a sleazy, sleazy guy. He has no qualms about using his powers of suggestion to get people to do what he wants. A fanatic, his devotion to his small selection of gods is unquestionable. He claims to be doing their will and will base all his actions on whether or not they would be pleasing to the gods.
History: Born in the north to a Sculptor, Kyle learned a great deal about his father's area of expertise. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Kyle grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Kyle. He's also a talented Healer, but doesn't like to broadcast it.
Motivation: He's in love; and he would like to get married and retire

Description: He wears bulky grey painted plate armor. He has relatively dark skin and is very physically imposing due to his abundance of muscles. He sports a flattop hair cut. He has gray eyes and a grey hat with a green feather.
Personality: He is envious of other's things. He hoards treasure, art, food, wine, and anything that he so desires. He refers to his adoptive mother for almost all things he is unsure about, which are numerous. He is very much still a child and has not developed a drive for self-dependency.
History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Gerald was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. One night he noticed a nearby shooting star which he hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. He has done his darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.
Motivation: A rival would like him out of the picture; and he feels that his past leaves him morally obligated to help
