His partner is his best friend in the world. The two are very close despite being more or less each other's opposites. History: A child with a great deal of writing talent his parents made sure he got the chance to thrive. In his 14th year, his parents were killed by a brigands raid, leaving Heward alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

History: Charles was born the youngest of three triplets. Being born in the west, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the west for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way north. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Bounty Hunter they were divorced and he won custody of their daughter. He worked as a Performer, and he later adopted a second daughter.

He carries with him a set of scimitars, each one with a emerald on the hilt. He only wears one on his belt and the other on his back. His chestnut hair is singed and shortened. He has a dull look in his violet eyes.

Personality: He is witty, but his monotone delivery comes off as unnerving He works hard and plays hard.

History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his father. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. Recently a tribe of giants attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Frederick fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.
