History: He was raised in a island tribe. In his youth he was part of a gang. He got caught, but did not rat out his comrades and served his time in prison. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to giants demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by giants, and he desires to right it; and he is terrified, and will act out of fear

History: His history is one of pain. He was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves his parents kept. At a young age he wooed the heart of his future spouse and the two had a long relationship before they wed. He has never given up on his writing dream.

History: A powerful brothel owner made him what he is. He took every job he could get his hands on, but the opportunities for Humans in the west were limited. He left for the west, certain he would find work there.

Personality: He is a jovial happy person, but he is convinced people are living their lives too quickly. He is motivated by money and will often try and persuade people to work for cheap. He haggles over everything, upselling his goods and buying cheap. He is persistent in everything.

History: He was born in the east, but his parents moved at a very young age to the south. While he appears to be a normal Human, he's... not quite right. Perhaps he's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that he plain doesn't fit in. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.
