Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by dire rats. Justin was horrified and prayed that his father was alright. However, he heard that his father had died fighting off the dire rats.

Description: Wearing a closed helm and plate, one would not know what he was had he not made sure his armor was more form fitting than normal. Outside of the suit he usually wears his blue robe and has his greataxe always slung over his shoulder. His hair, while still mostly brown, has prominent grey streaks. He is baby faced.

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Jocelyn embodies much of what other species detest in the Humans. He does suffer from mild PTSD, and the sight of dire rats may trigger it at times.

History: Gifted from a young age, Jocelyn studied abroad. His parents divorced when he was young, and his father gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his father, who blamed him for driving them apart. He's since become an addict/alcoholic.

Description: He is an average looking western male in his early mid-life. He wears tight fighting clothing, which leaves very little to the imagination. He has moderate length blonde hair. He was beautiful and young once, which still shows through his age, but it is a faded beauty.

Personality: He loves telling others what to do and how they should feel about things. He is fiercely devoted to his father, and views his father's ex-spouse as an evil person for separating him from his legal half-brother.

History: He was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his sons to still be retired.

Motivation: Wants to raise his children well.

Description: A man with thick toned arms and a paunchy gut. He wears a tight fitting brown shirt and pants. He has wavy chestnut hair. His eyes are violet and he is always smoking a pipe.

Personality: He resents people who mock his appearance or him, so he has learned to be the meanest son of a gun. He is a very good compulsive liar and kleptomaniac.

History: He was born to loving parents in a slum to the south. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. Recently a tribe of dire rats attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Alexandre fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Motivation: He is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences his actions.

Description: With black face paint in a stripe pattern across his face, he wears an amalgamation of clothes and depending on the season will wear more layers of the continuing hodge podge. He has a very tight haircut. He has hazel eyes.

Personality: He cares much about the opinion of others, both in good and in bad: when keeping in line with his opinion, he thinks highly of the other person, but when opinions clash, he can get violently argumentative. He is able to fit into much smaller and tighter spaces than normal.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. Brilliant and gifted he never wanted to apply himself. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

Motivation: He will attempt to ambush and attack anyone he thinks he can take on alone and try to knock them out with non-lethal damage. If successful, he will try to sell them to his slave-trader contact; and seeks redemption
