Personality: He considers himself the protector of his home. He feels this is his duty and calling. He does suffer from mild PTSD, and the sight of gnolls may trigger it at times.

History: Aldous lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Through the years after Aldous was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the south. Aldous's mother didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He eventually got the idea of being the protector of his homeland from reading books, and has made it his duty.

Personality: He is irascible and easily irritated. He can't help but pocket interesting objects he comes across

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when illithids swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. His parents were killed by illithids in a raid when he was still a young child. The illithids captured him, and made him a slave and general play-thing. He was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to his deformed appearance. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by illithids. Nicholas was horrified and prayed that his mother was alright. However, he heard that his mother had died fighting off the illithids.

Motivation: He is compelled to act according to his religious beliefs; and his name or reputation has been wronged in the past by illithids, and he desires to right it

Personality: He seems absolutely devoid of it. He stares off into space and will respond with overly literal and minimalist answers to questions. He is however greedy and will demand payment and proof of collateral's value and will produce a merchant's scale to make sure he is not cheated out of a speck.

History: He was born in the west. His parents enrolled him in a Fighter school at a young age so that he could practice his arcane talents. He was granted arcane powers by his dying brother.

Motivation: To end his boredom; and he is content

Description: This western man's face is deformed and paralyzed on one side. As such, he slurs his words together. He wears many layers of old clothing at all times. His silver hair is braided into rings. He has a tattooed face.

Personality: He is irascible and easily irritated. His brief stint in the army gave him the idea he was invincible and that he is the toughest man alive.

History: Born in the west to a Brewer, Lewis learned a great deal about his father's area of expertise. Being born in the west, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the west for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way north. He ran away from his former home and has been making his living as a Brewer for the past few years.

Motivation: Wants to raise his children well.

Personality: He likes to make people angry or surprised. He is a bit of a xeno-phobe, disliking non-Humans.

History: Lewis was born the youngest of three triplets. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

Motivation: Doesn't want to be a Soapmaker and was forced into it by his family.
