History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his father. He graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. He advanced relatively quickly due to his good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. He was forced to fight in gladiatorial arenas alongside his partner. They became the best of friends and one day they managed to break out together and then went their separate ways.

Description: A man with a cold, calculating air about him, he wears very tight pants and wife beaters, though occasionally he sports a black coat. He has dyed his greying blonde hair a little too much giving a sharp blonde color. His blue eyes peer out from beneath his top black hat.

Personality: He resents people who mock his appearance or him, so he has learned to be the meanest son of a gun. His temper goes off on the smallest of things. He tends to lash out at those around him.

History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. As a young adult he joined a group advocating for an improvement in Human conditions. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: He possesses a valuable artifact that the thieves guild wishes to steal; and he feels that his past leaves him morally obligated to help

Description: This slender man stands about 6'5". He has the majority of his body covered in plate. His white hair is slicked back into a classic pompadour. His eyes are violet and catlike.

Personality: Eccentric and domineering, Charles will drive conversation. The war was a terrible time for him, and Charles does not often speak of it. When he does, he does so with a strained expression and tears in his eyes.

History: Born in the west his family was never financially stable. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Healer hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He got away from his former life and has fallen to alcoholism.

Motivation: He loathes his own lifestyle.

Description: A 5'3" northern man, he wears white robes with leather pauldrons. Though occasionally he wears more armor. He prefers to carry a shortspear, but if one is not available he will default to his sword. He sports a flattop hair cut. He has a very pronounced jaw and large eyebrows. He wears rectangular glasses with silver brims.

Personality: He barks his statements quickly and with little fuss. He prefers small words and is at his heart utilitarian. He does suffer from mild PTSD, and the sight of illithids may trigger it at times.

History: Born to a Server, his mother struggled to pay the bills. His family was turned out during the war. He and his family wandered north to less war torn lands. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to illithids demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: A deep hatred of illithids; and his name or reputation has been wronged in the past by illithids, and he desires to right it

History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. As a young adult he joined a group advocating for an improvement in Human conditions. He has became unsatisfied with his lot in life, and decided to take up adventuring.
