History: Born to a Bookbinder, his father struggled to pay the bills. Being born in the north, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the north for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way east. He spent several years traveling with his friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.

Personality: He is intelligent and cunning, but he will too often allow his rage to get the better of him. He will lose his cool and rely on brute force to carry the day. He does not believe in violence as a means to an end. He is a dedicated Dyer but believes his peers are too gung-ho.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. He has been saving his money to try and buy his brother's freedom.

Motivation: Wants to open a new tavern; and doesn't want to be a dyer and was forced into it by his family

History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. In his 12th year, while out on a day-trip, he returned to find his hometown burning and destroyed. He found his father impaled in their home, and his mother beheaded. He saw the man who walked out, and charged him in a blind rage. The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. He leaves a trail of broken hearts and full pockets wherever he goes.

Personality: He considers himself a man of culture and sophistication. He likes a good challenge to his wits. He is a bit of a xeno-phobe, disliking non-Humans.

History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. His father was very strict, and drilled into him lessons on being the perfect gentleman. One night he noticed a nearby shooting star which he hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. He has done his darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

Motivation: He has a rivalry with the Church that dominates his actions; and he doesn't get along with people that don't share his tastes

Personality: Quiet and reserved he prefers to listen than to talk. He will nod occasionally and communicate nonverbally. Further he is a bit of a stoner and is frequently out of it.

History: He was born to loving parents in a slum to the west. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He's since become an addict/alcoholic.

Motivation: He is not mentally stable, and does not behave rationally; and he seems to be bored by most things
