History: Balimaar was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Fighter, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Fighter in service of a powerful lord somewhere. He was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. He became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his mother always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. His homeland was ravaged by war and he spent much of his life rebuilding it. He has never given up on his writing dream.

Personality: He dislikes all the random violence that takes place in the north. His brief stint in the army gave him the idea he was invincible and that he is the toughest man alive.

History: The child of northern immigrants he idolized his father. He was taken from his home at a very young age. He now owns his own business.

Personality: Quiet and reserved he prefers to listen than to talk. He will nod occasionally and communicate nonverbally. He is frequently practicing swordplay.

History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. He struck it rich when he found rare goods in large quantities. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

Motivation: He has money and likes to spend it; and retire the richest man in the north
