Personality: Abrasive and pushy, he has a hard time making friends. He can see the true alignment of people by looking at them, and uses this to pass judgement.

History: Chad lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. In his 17th year, his parents were killed by a dire rats raid, leaving Chad alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He was granted martial powers by his dying sister.

Motivation: He wants revenge against dire rats; and someone believes him a fraud

History: He is a Maurezhi in disguise. In his formative years he discovered how persuasive he was. He began using that to his advantage selling useless wares at inflated prices. Lacking all sense, he decided to go on an adventure. He picked a direction and started trekking.

Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of his brother; and marry his brother to traveling adventurers

History: His history is one of pain. He was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves his parents kept. He worked as a nervous Healer and found it very stressful. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.
