History: Richard was raised in a hard working conservative environment. He inherited a moderately successful company from his mother. Under his leadership it has flourished, and using capital from his venture he effectively owns an entire region. He has gone from town to town till he finds a spot where he can set up a sustainable business.

Personality: He is a Ruler first and foremost. He believes firmly that knowledge should be universal. He has the money to obtain near anything and knows that if you pay a man enough he will sell his own mother. Money is his most trusted friend.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious northern family, he was no stranger to responsibility. A gifted student he started as a Jeweler, but he got bored and became a Ruler. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.
