Description: Standing 5'2", this man dresses well, wearing green shirts, loose pants, and blazers most of the time. His brown hair is braided into rings. His half smiles and blue eyes are beguiling and draw you in.

Personality: He is a jovial happy person, but he is convinced people are living their lives too quickly. He is terrible with names forgetting people's names several times before they finally stick; this causes him no end of embarrassment.

History: Hugh hails from a village terrorized by drow. Being born in the north, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the north for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way west. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to drow demanding more tribute than usual.

Personality: He goes out his way to put a smile on everyone's face. There's no-one he won't accept into his heart. He dislikes loud distracting noises, but is overall hospitable. His biggest love is that of knowledge and as such will purchase any books or pay to listen to tales that travelers might have.

History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Diggory was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. Diggory was born on a far southern plains where he grew up under the tutelage of his father, an expert Mayor. Since then, he has sought to make the best of life.

Motivation: To share knowledge with the world; and wants to have a good time and be beloved

History: He is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Jeweler. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

Motivation: Meet up once more with his childhood friend; and balancing his hectic life and new jeweler responsibilities is difficult

Personality: He is curt in most of his responses. He prefers to keep his word usage to a minimum to avoid giving away unnecessary information. He enjoys reading and quiet.

History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Bernard was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He now owns his own business.
