History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. At a young age his father died while driving off some orcs. His mother being the stubborn sort decided to stay and helped train him in longsword use. Recently a tribe of orcs attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Robert fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by orcs, and he desires to right it; and a deep hatred of orcs

History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. His mother was a soldier and died while he was still young. Patrick was left his mother's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Motivation: He wants nothing more than to rejoin the army; and to end his boredom

History: Kyle hails from a village terrorized by brigands. His mother was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his mother was legitimate. Some 3 years later his spouse died after the birth of his daughter. Heartbroken, Kyle never married again. Instead he focused his life to raising his daughter whom he trained as his father had trained him before.

Motivation: He is compelled to act according to his religious beliefs.

History: He was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. When he was little, his rather wealthy family often ventured across the island to a summer home near a large cave. He would wander through that large cave and adventure through it for days. One day while adventuring a terrible storm took place and he was stranded inside. His family spent the next few days looking for him, and could only assume he was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the island due to the painful memories there. Nicholas took refuge in the large cave and found the beat up greataxe and armor he uses now. He now owns his own business.
