History: His divine talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, his parents had him trained. He worked as a nervous Ploughman and found it very stressful. He now owns his own business.

History: A child with a great deal of music talent his parents made sure he got the chance to thrive. He helped his mother out around the business and became quite the natural. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

Personality: Cocky and sure of himself, he believes he is the best Layabout born in the past three hundred years. He is a logical person and will generally grow upset if things defy logic and science.

History: Gerard lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. He struck it rich when he found rare goods in large quantities. He has been saving his money to try and buy his brother's freedom.

Motivation: To reunite with his absent father; and wants to open a new tavern

His partner is his best friend in the world. The two are very close despite being more or less each other's opposites. He is lazy, self-centered, vain, and jealous.

History: Dean hails from a village terrorized by goblins. His childhood dream was to be a Ruler, but he was a colossal failure. In the meantime he has taken over work as a Barkeep and occasionally as a mercenary.
