History: Roland lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. His family was turned out during the war. He and his family wandered north to less war torn lands. He has since lost track of the people in his past.

Motivation: To find somewhere to settle down; and he is wracked by social anxiety

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. He made a point of taking high paying jobs and getting most of it up front. He has became unsatisfied with his lot in life, and decided to take up adventuring.

Motivation: He has passion for adventuring and risk.

Personality: He will rave to anyone who will listen. Further he is a bit of a stoner and is frequently out of it.

History: He comes from a rich eastern family. He inherited a moderately successful company from his father. Under his leadership it has flourished, and using capital from his venture he effectively owns an entire region. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Motivation: He uses money and sex appeal to get what he needs.
