Personality: Friendly and accommodating he would invite many more into his home than his spouse would be comfortable with if they did not express concern about it. He is however greedy and will demand payment and proof of collateral's value and will produce a merchant's scale to make sure he is not cheated out of a speck.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his father always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. He dropped out of school before completing his studies. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Personality: He snorts whenever he laughs or is feeling confident. Further he is a bit of a stoner and is frequently out of it.

History: Simon lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. He made a point of taking high paying jobs and getting most of it up front. He spent several years traveling with his friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.

Personality: Stoic and calm, he prefers to meditate than take action. To his fellows he is seen as friendly and intelligent, but is angry and unforgiving to the so called fatcats and any who do and have associated with them.

History: The child of a Mortician, who enjoyed hunting, Aldous was taken on many hunting expeditions. He was taken from his home at a very young age. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by giants. Aldous was horrified and prayed that his father was alright. However, he heard that his father had died fighting off the giants.

Motivation: He is currently in port desperately looking for someone to get him out.

Personality: Bernard is a sociable creature first and foremost. He loves to listen to people at length before talking their ear off. He can carry on conversation for hours and will do so. He is vehemently anti-magic. All of it is evil and corrupting in his opinion.

History: He was born in a small island village. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Human companion (his 'brother'). He has dedicated himself to building a better world.
