Through the years after Gerard was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the east. Gerard's mother didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious eastern family, he was no stranger to responsibility. He was an apprentice working in his mother's forge. He's also a talented Blacksmith, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

Motivation: Obtaining odd cultural Human artifacts is his passion; and meet up once more with his childhood friend

Personality: He is not truly malevolent, but he is obsessed with painting. He constantly tries to fill his life with painting. He does not regard money as being a problem because it has never been a problem for him. He lives in a bit of an ivory tower believing all problems are one quick intervention away from being solved.

History: His history is one of pain. He was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves his parents kept. He was one of the best in his class, and was picked up by his current employer. He quickly showed his capability and was soon promoted to a head role. He ran away from his former home and has been making his living as a Navigator for the past few years.

Motivation: Balancing his hectic life and new Navigator responsibilities is difficult.
