History: Bertram was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his mother was employed at, doing general labor. He was taken as a slave by a traveling circus and forced to perform He left for the east, certain he would find work there.

Motivation: He is not mentally stable, and does not behave rationally; and he is currently in port desperately looking for someone to get him out

History: He is a Deep Scion in disguise. He went to a religious school and was inspired by the priests there in charitable deeds. He now travels the world, in search of power and loot.

Motivation: He has a rivalry with the Church that dominates his actions; and obtaining odd cultural human artifacts is his passion
