Though less modest and more hasty in his reactions to snap at those who irritate him, Simon is combative with any and all who dare try his patience in the slightest.

History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. In his 10th year, his parents were killed by a goblins raid, leaving Simon alone in the world. Personality: He is a sleazy, sleazy guy. He has no qualms about using his powers of suggestion to get people to do what he wants. He is a logical person and will generally grow upset if things defy logic and science.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when dire rats swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. Since his father passed away years ago, his mother had doted on him, and he came to think her himself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by his attractiveness, a trait in which he easily excels the other men of his town. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

History: His mother raised him in a mountain cabin. He sought a place where he would be rewarded solely on the merits of his skills. This search led him directly into Miner work with an outfit from a few towns over. Miner work suited him well, and with each successful project, he earned more gold and more respect from his peers. He now owns his own business.

Motivation: He has a rivalry with the Church that dominates his actions; and his religion dominates his actions
