He was preparing to flee to the north, but the outbreak of war prevented him and his mother from journeying north to reunite his family. After a long history of fighting, Roland and his spouse have recently divorced.

History: He was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. His mother was a mechanic, and taught him how to fix just about anything. He has worked as a Servant like his mother before him.
