History: Trained by his father for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. His mother was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his mother was legitimate. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: He has a rivalry with the Church that dominates his actions.

History: He was born at the edge of vast desert. There was a wharf not far from home where he often wandered off to fish. After a long history of fighting, Randal and his spouse have recently divorced.

Motivation: Retire the richest man in the west.

Personality: Friendly and accommodating he would invite many more into his home than his spouse would be comfortable with if they did not express concern about it. On top of that he is swayed by a pretty face, and while loyalty to his employer will always come first he doesn't like to hit women.

History: He was born to loving parents in a slum to the east. He found a children's book about a Human Fighter who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. He has dedicated himself to building a better trade route.

Personality: He is erratic and paranoid. He believes brigands are coming to abduct people. Anselm enjoys physical pleasures, and is well known for his love of warm baths in the hot springs near the town.

History: He was born to a criminal king-pin and mafia family His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Anselm grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Anselm. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by brigands. Anselm was horrified and prayed that his mother was alright. However, he heard that his mother had died fighting off the brigands.
