Description: The light-skinned man stands 5'4" and very much looks the part of a Detective. He has a red handlebar mustache and slicked back red hair. His eyes are likewise violet. His teeth are yellowed and unaligned.

Personality: He is almost excessively polite to everyone, even when angry. He has a minor phobia of water and hates getting wet.

History: He was raised happily, as a normal child born to his father and mother. His father taught him the rudiments of the Detective arts, while his mother instructed him in etiquette, music and courtly manner. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Detective. History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. Being born in the north, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the north for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way south. He has been saving his money to try and buy his sister's freedom.

Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of his sister.

Personality: He barks his statements quickly and with little fuss. He prefers small words and is at his heart utilitarian. His temper goes off on the smallest of things. He tends to lash out at those around him.

History: The child of southern immigrants he idolized his mother. He moved from fad to fad and when he turned 15 he discovered poetry. He left for the south, certain he would find work there.

Motivation: He's repulsed by the PC; and to share knowledge with the world

Personality: He can speak with the dead, and doesn't see much difference between the living and dead. His temper goes off on the smallest of things. He tends to lash out at those around him.

History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Personality: This man loves singing and to teach people singing more than just about anything. He takes great joy in being the best Sage in town.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his mother always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Sage. He has achieved small success as a Sage.

Motivation: Expand his business; and he is unsatisfied with his job
