Personality: He exudes charisma. He is a tour de force of persuasion. He is terrible with names forgetting people's names several times before they finally stick; this causes him no end of embarrassment.

History: He was born at the edge of vast plains. Manfred liked to wander the woods near his home when he was young, something he still likes to do at least once a week. He never liked modest clothing or shoes, so he would wander the woods barefoot and lightly dressed, and he developed a good sense of balance and learned how to climb and swim well. He has been a successful dealer in antiques buying low and selling high.

Motivation: Many dire rats want him driven away; and his name or reputation has been wronged in the past by dire rats, and he desires to right it

History: Gifted from a young age, Guy studied abroad. Like his father and his sister before him, after school he went straight into learning to become a Tanner. He then took over the family business and is one of the better Tanner for hire.

Motivation: He'd like to take his coworkers down a peg; and balancing his hectic life and new tanner responsibilities is difficult

Personality: He is quiet and anti-social and can barely make it a few minutes in conversation before his hampering stammer kicks in. He has a habit of throwing himself into exceedingly dangerous situations.

History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. Before the accident, he was one of the most outspoken anti-Human activists. He was mortally wounded, saved by a kind and fast-acting Human doctor. He spent several years traveling with his friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.

Motivation: He wants to meet his childhood hero; and to unite with his brother

History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. Unlike his family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, he wanted to work in the city. He has been working here for the past few years.

Motivation: To find somewhere to settle down.
