Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Gunter embodies much of what other species detest in the Humans. He is a very good compulsive liar and kleptomaniac.

History: Gunter was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Fighter, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Fighter in service of a powerful lord somewhere. Through the years after Gunter was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the north. Gunter's mother didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Personality: He believes there is no problem he cannot solve with sufficient elbow grease and persistence, if it is the best or most economic solution matters not. He is a thrill seeker, he laughs at people and throws down challenges. He is highly competitive and combative.

History: Alex was born in the north. At a young age he loved to build and create. A freak accident while working with his Shepherd father left him crippled. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to giants demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: Obtaining odd cultural Human artifacts is his passion.

Description: This western man wears blue robes with leather pauldrons. Though occasionally he wears more armor. He prefers to carry a axe, but if one is not available he will default to his spear. His clothes are grease stained in places. His red hair is cut jaggedly and amateurishly. He has a dull look in his blue eyes.

Personality: He is quiet and reserved most of the time, but warms up to people very quickly. Around friends he is liable to tell dirty jokes and enjoy himself. Animals are drawn to him, and he is able to talk to them.

History: He was born in the west, but his parents moved at a very young age to the south. His parents enrolled him in a Fighter school at a young age so that he could practice his arcane talents. He has been helping groups of widows and orphans who have fled abusive spouses or lost their families to giants.

Motivation: His spouse's relatives view him with great suspicion; and he wants revenge against giants

Description: He is a paragon of his species. He is larger and stronger than most Humans. His skin is light but he possesses many grey ritualistic tattoos. He wears a worn and beaten armor. His moppish silver hair is in a traditional bowl cut. He has hazel eyes and a brown hat with a grey feather.

Personality: Gilbert hangs on like a leech to those who appreciate him. It was this clingy personality that held back his writing career. He moves from fascination to fascination almost instantaneously. If something can keep his interest for a month it is impressive.

History: He comes from a rich northern family. A serious injury left his father unemployed and in need of constant care. His family became saddled with debt trying to care for his infirm father. He has never given up on his writing dream.

Motivation: He seems to be bored by most things; and he made a deal with a demon which lead to his current lot in life, and he's becoming increasingly nervous about it

Description: This exceptionally lanky man very much looks the part of a Farmer. With a patchy auburn beard and wild auburn hair. His face is covered beneath a completely black helmet.

Personality: He will rave to anyone who will listen. Any perceived weakness will be pressed and exploited. He is seen as merciless and passionate.

History: The child of northern immigrants he idolized his mother. While he appears to be a normal Human, he's... not quite right. Perhaps he's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that he plain doesn't fit in. He struck the Farmer job and began his own company from there.

Motivation: He possesses a valuable artifact that the thieves guild wishes to steal; and he'd like to take his coworkers down a peg
