History: He comes from a rich southern family. His father was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his father was legitimate. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

Motivation: His spouse's relatives view him with great suspicion; and wants to raise his children well

History: A powerful necromancer made him what he is. A gifted student he started as a Map Maker, but he got bored and became a Mortician. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

Motivation: Balancing his hectic life and new Mortician responsibilities is difficult.
