Description: He is lean but muscular and wears a shirt that is too small, which lets his gut show, with a ratty tan coat over it. He has moderate length black hair. His face is scarred and worn.
Personality: This man loves writing and to teach people writing more than just about anything. He does not believe in violence as a means to an end. He is a dedicated Body Guard but believes his peers are too gung-ho.
History: He was born to a criminal king-pin and mafia family When he was little, his rather wealthy family often ventured across the island to a summer home near a ruined castle. He would wander through that ruined castle and adventure through it for days. One day while adventuring a terrible storm took place and he was stranded inside. His family spent the next few days looking for him, and could only assume he was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the island due to the painful memories there. Reynard took refuge in the ruined castle and found the beat up shortspear and armor he uses now. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.
Motivation: He is a bit of a kleptomaniac; and he has decided he is irredeemable

Description: He is wearing a long, pastel, dusty cloak. He carries with him a set of monstrous two handed axes on his belt, each one with a amethyst on the hilt. His tied-back hair is brown. Judging by the bloodshot nature of his eyes and the massive bags underneath them one would imagine he has not slept for days.
Personality: He does not believe in betrayal or weakness as things to be tolerated. He constantly seizes attention wherever he goes and has come to expect this respect from everyone. He likes to think of himself as merciful, but nonetheless is very strict.
History: Born the oldest of a large religious southern family, he was no stranger to responsibility. His first spouse was a Bookbinder, they had one son, but his spouse won total custody. Without his spouse to temper him he grew out of control. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Bookbinder they were divorced and he won custody of their son. He worked as a Interpreter, and he later adopted a second son.
Motivation: His spouse's relatives view him with great suspicion; and wants to raise his children well

Description: This northern man is abnormally tall. He wears a simple black robe with white stripes complete with hood. His whole body is exceptionally muscular. His red hair is singed and shortened. His blue eyes dart from person to person.
Personality: He has two modes he varies between. On the job he is cold, steely and emotionless. Off the job he is a party animal. Any perceived weakness will be pressed and exploited. He is seen as merciless and passionate.
History: Trained by his father for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. Like his father and his brother before him, after school he went straight into learning to become a Baker. He left for the north, certain he would find work there.
Motivation: He feels that his past leaves him morally obligated to help; and he wants nothing more than to rejoin the army

Description: He wears skinny pants and wears a white and tan robe with the hood down. His skin is fair and his fingers are delicate and long. He wears a Stetson hat to cover his moderate length blonde hair. His eyes, though not visible through his cowl, are blue.
Personality: He is quiet and reserved most of the time, but warms up to people very quickly. Around friends he is liable to tell dirty jokes and enjoy himself. He dislikes loud distracting noises, but is overall hospitable. His biggest love is that of knowledge and as such will purchase any books or pay to listen to tales that travelers might have.
History: Conrad was born the youngest of three triplets. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Conrad grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Conrad. He has been saving his money to try and buy his brother's freedom.

Personality: He can speak with the recently deceased. He keeps company with all sorts of races to see how they think and challenge minds foreign to his own.
History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Roger was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. He graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. He advanced relatively quickly due to his good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.
Motivation: His relatives are trying to arrange a marriage.
