History: Born in the east to a Mason, John learned a great deal about his mother's area of expertise. When he was little, his rather wealthy family often ventured across the plains to a summer home near a ruined castle. He would wander through that ruined castle and adventure through it for days. One day while adventuring a terrible storm took place and he was stranded inside. His family spent the next few days looking for him, and could only assume he was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the plains due to the painful memories there. John took refuge in the ruined castle and found the beat up pickaxe and armor he uses now. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

History: He is a Lamia in disguise. While studying, he fell in love. They married and had a daughter. Some 8 years later his spouse died after the birth of his daughter. Heartbroken, Rolf never married again. Instead he focused his life to raising his daughter whom he trained as his father had trained him before.

He cares a great deal for his adopted teenage daughter.

History: Alex hails from a village terrorized by dire rats. From his teen years he was always beautiful and desirable, so people have always doted on him. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to dire rats demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: He wants revenge against dire rats; and doesn't want to be a butcher and was forced into it by his family

Personality: Soft-spoken and well mannered, he has an amazing amount of patience and a slow boiling temper. He loves being with his children and actually smiles when they are around. He would do anything for them. He dislikes his ex a great deal.

History: Heir to a fortune, his parents put a great deal of effort into curing his disease. Being born in the east, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the east for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way north. He hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure him.
