History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. At some point he was captured by goblins and was tortured. After several years of this he finally managed to escape. He tends to his Shepherd job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations he has.

History: He was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. From his teen years he was always beautiful and desirable, so people have always doted on him. Recently a tribe of gnolls attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Roland fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.
