The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. He spent several years traveling with his friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.

Personality: While he acts the brute, he is far gentler than he would appear. The war was a terrible time for him, and Dustin does not often speak of it. When he does, he does so with a strained expression and tears in his eyes.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious northern family, he was no stranger to responsibility. He graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. He advanced relatively quickly due to his good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to giants demanding more tribute than usual.

History: Shane was raised in a hard working conservative environment. He took every job he could get his hands on, but the opportunities for Humans in the east were limited. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Personality: Dustin speaks confidently about a variety of topics with grace. He is clearly well-traveled and educated. He claims to be unscrupulous but at the end of the day he will do what he thinks is right.

History: From birth he was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. His family was turned out during the war. He and his family wandered west to less war torn lands. He now mingles about in high society.

History: He was raised in a forest tribe. There was a wharf not far from home where he often wandered off to fish. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.
