History: Roland lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. At a young age he wooed the heart of his future spouse and the two had a long relationship before they wed. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

History: He was born in the west, but his parents moved at a very young age to the south. He inherited a moderately successful company from his mother.
