Description: This light-skinned male wears an old set of leather armor, nicked and torn by the ravages of time and battle. He is tall, broad shouldered and powerfully built. His hair, while still mostly black, has prominent grey streaks. His green eyes are slightly larger than normal.

Personality: Deceptive and manipulative this northern guy figured out how to best use his charms to convince people to do what he wants. His philosophy is that everyone needs a friend and as such shows hospitality towards all.

History: He was born in the north. A few years later when the south was not economically sound they moved to his current location. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Motivation: He loathes his own lifestyle.

Description: He is a paragon of his species. He is larger and stronger than most Humans. His skin is dark but he possesses many tan ritualistic tattoos. He wears a suit in poor condition. It has not been laundered in sometime and has been worn in activities one would not normally wear a suit during. With bright auburn hair and a scraggly beard. His eyes are a pleasant violet.

Personality: Cocky and sure of himself, he believes he is the best Layabout born in the past three hundred years. He would rather hide behind his crafts than deal with other people.

History: A child with a great deal of music talent his parents made sure he got the chance to thrive. He sought a place where he would be rewarded solely on the merits of his skills. This search led him directly into Layabout work with an outfit from a few towns over. Layabout work suited him well, and with each successful project, he earned more gold and more respect from his peers. He then took over the family business and is one of the better Layabout for hire.

Motivation: He wants to meet his childhood hero; and he'd like to take his coworkers down a peg

Description: This man is unhealthily muscled, almost every single one of his veins is visible when he is not flexing. His shirts and pants tend to be short and undersized for him due to the difficulty of finding a good tailor. His blonde hair is lengthy. His eyes, though not visible through his cowl, are hazel.

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Dustin embodies much of what other species detest in the Humans. Dustin enjoys physical pleasures, and is well known for his love of warm baths in the hot springs near the town.

History: He is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. Through the years after Dustin was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the west. Dustin's mother didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

Motivation: He has money and likes to spend it.

Description: A well shaped man just over fifty, he sports white clothing, slightly heavier than average wear. His silver hair is heavily combed to the right. He has amber eyes and a white hat with a yellow feather.

Personality: He tends to agree with only himself unless someone else's opinion sounds like he can profit from it. He tries to control his temper but he can't always stop himself from what he feels what must be done. He is often prim and proper but will on occasion tell either really disgusting or offensive jokes, which seem out of character.

History: He was born to a criminal king-pin and mafia family He was a friend to animals and a trickster. In his defense of animals however he would do severe harm to people. After a long history of fighting, Patrick and his spouse have recently divorced.

Motivation: He's attracted to the PC; and he feels that his past leaves him morally obligated to help

Description: He wears a shirt and pants that are bristling with pockets overflowing with maps, compasses, and other navigational equipment. He carries with him a set of rapiers on his belt, each one with a emerald on the hilt. His brown hair is thinning but still full. His green unseeing eyes seem to look past you.

Personality: He is curt in most of his responses. He prefers to keep his word usage to a minimum to avoid giving away unnecessary information. He works hard and plays hard.

History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. Recently a tribe of drow attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Bertram fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.
