History: His mother raised him in a mountain cabin. Lance liked to wander the woods near his home when he was young, something he still likes to do at least once a week. He never liked modest clothing or shoes, so he would wander the woods barefoot and lightly dressed, and he developed a good sense of balance and learned how to climb and swim well. He spent several years traveling with his friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.

He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure him.

Personality: His tongue was cut out and he uses sign language. He does suffer from mild PTSD, and the sight of drow may trigger it at times.

History: He was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. Roland was born on a far southern forest where he grew up under the tutelage of his father, an expert Beggar. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Motivation: He wants revenge against drow.

Personality: He considers himself the protector of his home. He feels this is his duty and calling. He is terrible with names forgetting people's names several times before they finally stick; this causes him no end of embarrassment.

History: He was born to a criminal king-pin and mafia family His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Patrick grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Patrick. He has been saving his money to try and buy his brother's freedom.

Motivation: A rival would like him out of the picture; and seeks redemption
