Personality: He believes there is no problem he cannot solve with sufficient elbow grease and persistence, if it is the best or most economic solution matters not. His temper goes off on the smallest of things. He tends to lash out at those around him.

History: He grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. Ostracized due to the martial powers of his oldest brother, he and his siblings struck out on their own. In the process these unassuming Humans became a terror of the countryside. One night he noticed a nearby shooting star which he hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. He has done his darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

Personality: He misses his glory days as an athlete. He does not mind his job, but it is boring in comparison. He is obsessed with finding treasure.

History: Tim was born in the south. At a young age he loved to build and create. He was an apprentice working in his father's forge. He has drifted apart from his friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature pickaxe.

Motivation: He is compelled to act according to his religious beliefs; and he wants to meet his childhood hero

Description: He wears baggy white pantaloons and a red scarf. He has a slight overbite and is overall scrawny. With a patchy white beard and wild white hair. He is missing an eye and his face is severely sunburned. His one remaining eye shines blue.

Personality: A rambunctious noisy drunk he knows how to make people feel guilty. He takes great joy in being the best Blacksmith in town.

History: Bertram was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Fighter, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Fighter in service of a powerful lord somewhere. A gifted student he started as a Merchant, but he got bored and became a Blacksmith. He then took over the family business and is one of the better Blacksmith for hire.

Motivation: A need for knowledge about a nearby landmark; and he desires power and/or immortality

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. His parents divorced when he was young, and his father gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his father, who blamed him for driving them apart. After a long history of fighting, Bernard and his spouse have recently divorced.

Motivation: He has passion for adventuring and risk; and meet up once more with his childhood friend
