He was a general practitioner in the west for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way east. He now spends his time doing works of charity.

History: He was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Layabout. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

History: Trained by his father for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. Brilliant and gifted he never wanted to apply himself. He has since lost track of the people in his past.

Motivation: Doesn't want to be a Ruler and was forced into it by his family; and find a way to reverse the transformation of his sister

Personality: He takes his job very seriously, in part because he fears he cannot get a new one. He is a bit of a xeno-phobe, disliking non-Humans.

History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his mother. His father was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his father was legitimate. He has worked as a Miner like his mother before him.

History: Gunter lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. He now mingles about in high society.

Motivation: He made a deal with a demon which lead to his current lot in life, and he's becoming increasingly nervous about it; and he has money and likes to spend it
