Description: 5'10" and lanky with angular features, he is an attractive figure. He wears dull white sweaters, loose black pants, and alligator leather shoes. Beneath his sweater he keeps a concealed sai, just in case. His black hair is knotted and matted. His brown eyes show the wear and tear of someone lonely with a great burden to carry.
Personality: He has a good heart but also a terrible temper. He will forgive often but not before yelling and berating someone for whatever they have done wrong. He claims to be unscrupulous but at the end of the day he will do what he thinks is right.
History: His history is one of pain. He was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves his parents kept. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. Recently a tribe of brigands attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Roland fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.
Motivation: He is currently in port desperately looking for someone to get him out; and a strong sense of loyalty to human people

Description: This man is unhealthily muscled, almost every single one of his veins is visible when he is not flexing. His shirts and pants tend to be short and undersized for him due to the difficulty of finding a good tailor. He has styled his auburn hair well, parting it to the right. He has a very pronounced jaw and large eyebrows. He wears rectangular glasses with silver brims.
Personality: He is quite gentle and does not know the full extent of his strength. He works very hard to maintain that gentleness. He is often prim and proper but will on occasion tell either really disgusting or offensive jokes, which seem out of character.
History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Ralf grew up listening to his mother's many stories. From there he went from mercenary job to mercenary job. He has drifted apart from his friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature nunchaku.
Motivation: Obtaining odd cultural Human artifacts is his passion; and a need for knowledge about a nearby landmark

Description: He wears loose pants and a collared shirt complete with sweater beneath his coat. His attire stands in sharp contrast to his shield, which is beautifully polished and possesses an ornate carving of a butterfly on it. He wears his silver hair down. He wears large thick round spectacles.
Personality: He misses his glory days as an athlete. He does not mind his job, but it is boring in comparison. He refers to his adoptive mother for almost all things he is unsure about, which are numerous. He is very much still a child and has not developed a drive for self-dependency.
History: Born the oldest of a large religious western family, he was no stranger to responsibility. Being born in the west, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the west for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way north. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.
Motivation: Meet up once more with his childhood friend; and to reunite with his old friends

Description: This late middle aged man wears a tight fitting pastel shirt and pants and is in decent physical shape. His blonde hair is lengthy. His fair skin shows little sign of his aristocratic breeding.
Personality: He is a hateful person. He taunts others and blames them for his problems. His respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to him, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, he tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in his reactions to snap at those who irritate him, John is combative with any and all who dare try his patience in the slightest.
History: He was raised happily, as a normal child born to his father and mother. His father taught him the rudiments of the Laborer arts, while his mother instructed him in etiquette, music and courtly manner. Through the years after John was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the west. John's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He has since lost track of the people in his past.
Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of his sister; and he has money and likes to spend it

Description: He wears dull pastel sweaters, loose red pants, and alligator leather shoes. Beneath his sweater he keeps a concealed spear, just in case. His blonde hair is cut short with large spiked bangs in the front. He has gleaming, smiling violet eyes.
Personality: He is unhospitable to his core. His small house has "No trespassing" Signs all over it. He also hits on women, regardless of circumstances.
History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his mother always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. There was a wharf not far from home where he often wandered off to fish. He spent several years traveling with his friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.
Motivation: He feels threatened by others; and meet up once more with his childhood friend
